The Sunrise Shack is a hidden gem! It's walkable to a nice part of the beach and to restaurants/shops, but on a quiet side street. The furniture was super comfy, the house was immaculately clean, and the kitchen was well stocked and has great appliances. The outdoor shower is a plus, and the screened porch, large back deck and yard are wonderful. Michael and Jesslyn are so nice, and always respond right away to any questions. We loved our stay, wish it could've been longer!

The Sunrise Shack was probably the most perfect Airbnb that I have ever stayed at. The location was (Website hidden by Airbnb) close to the beach! And their home was so beautiful and inviting. Comfortable beds, a wonderful screen-in porch and amazing deck on the back to enjoy the breeze and smell of the ocean air. Michael & Jesslyn have created a wonderful space for their guests to enjoy. The laminated book that they have set out for information and local recommendations was a really nice and helpful touch! I highly recommend everything about the Sunrise Shack.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunrise Shack. Michael and Jesslyn really pay attention to the details and have created a true home away from home while you visit Carolina Beach. The location is on a quiet street, but close enough to walk to the beach and Boardwalk. The Sunrise Shack is extremely clean and has everything you might need. Communication was perfect. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We had a fabulous stay! Michael & Jesslyn’s place was beautiful, very clean and very comfortable, in a great location, just a short walking distance from the beach, restaurants, shops, lake etc. Our dogs enjoy the backyard and the walks to the lake and the beach (after 5 pm). The hosts were wonderful, very accessible and very responsive; they provided great recommendations for many places to visit. There are tons to do and we hope to make it back again!

Immaculate, cute surfing vibe with all the well thought thru touches. 2 porches, 2 BRs and a nice living area and kitchen. Well stocked. A few blocks to the beach and next door to great ice cream. The welcome gift was very special.
